Parents To-Do List
!!!All parents/guardians must complete the following steps prior to students arriving for Panther Pick-Up Days or Orientation or they will NOT receive a schedule until completed!!!

Brand New to West Park High School this year?
If your student(s) is/are brand new this year to West Park High School, please make sure you complete the enrollment process. Once your student(s) is/are in our system, you may continue the steps below.

Data Confirmation *REQUIRED EACH YEAR*
This is required for ALL parents/guardians each and every year to ensure the info we have on file is complete and up-to-date. (Instructions) To ensure we have updated emergency information, students will NOT get their schedules until this step is complete!

1. Update your emergency contacts to include neighbors, your child's friend's parents, all adults in the household, or others who may be permitted to pick up your child should you be unable to do so. 
2. Update your personal contact information (address, email, phone number).
3. Turn "ON" ParentSquare notifications to alert you instantly when a school emergency occurs. (Instructions)

Return Middle School Books & Devices
Before you come to West Park, please be sure to return your devices and textbooks to your middle school. We are in a different school district, so we are unable to do so for you.

Parents Must Complete Steps Above
Remember, you will not be able to participate or get your schedules if your parents have not yet completed Data Confirmation. We will message families who have NOT completed it daily after July 15th. If you do not receive a message, you are all set!

Thursday, July 31st, 2025
All Freshmen come to Panther Pick-Up Days on this date to get your yearbook/ID photo taken, pay for PE clothes (and anything else you'd like to buy), and pick up schedules (only given out if parents completed the Data Confirmation (see above).

Due to limited space and our growing enrollment, Parking Permits are limited to 12th graders only. Click here to apply for your Permit and to view Maps and Drop-Off/Pick-Up Locations/Routes.

Schedules will be available via hard copy at Panther Pick-Up Days to students whose parents have completed Data Confirmation!

It is imperative that we have the most updated information for you and and your families, so please urge your parents/guardians to complete it as soon as possible.

Daily calls/reminders will go out starting July 15th. If you don't receive one, you should be set!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When and how do we pick our classes? Returning students and incoming Freshmen completed their course requests last spring. Brand new students submit their requests during the school registration process.

2. When can we view our schedules? Hard copies will be available to students who parents/guardians completed the Data Confirmation process.
3. How do we change our schedule? Counselors will email students the week of the Panther Pick-Up Days with instructions.
4. When is the last day to change our schedule? Requests must be submitted in the Google Form in your email sent by the counselors by the first day of school no later than 4pm.

Brand New Student Orientation

If you are a brand new incoming 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student, we want to tell you how excited we are to have you! We have a special orientation for all grade levels so you can get a private tour, get assistance through each step of fall registration process (we call it "Panther Pick-Up Days") and get you connected to our amazing school!

You will receive a personalized tour of campus and help to go through each of the stations so you have that one-on-one personal assistance to ensure you are ready for your first day of school. It's always a great day to be a Panther!

• Dates/Times: Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 8:30am
• Where to Go: Look for the Welcome signs at the main gate (front entrance of the school). Wait here until someone comes to greet you.

• The Student Leaders will be taking you on a tour of our beautiful campus, so wear your walking shoes!
