CAASPP Testing: The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is a statewide testing system that measures student achievement in English language arts, mathematics, and science. This is the California state exam that is administered to all 11th graders (and 12th graders who haven't taken the California Science Test). 9th & 10th graders will take practice test (called "Interims") for Literacy and Math. Scores can be found within Aeries.

ELPAC Testing: The ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment for California) is the assessment used to assess students' language acquisition and fluency which is administered in the spring.

The ELPAC is a required state test that must be given to students whose primary language is a language other than English. State and federal law require that we administer this assessment annually to English Learner students. The ELPAC is aligned with the 2012 California English Language Development Standards. You will only see ELPAC scores if your student is an English Learner. If so, you will be receiving additional information in another notification.

PSAT Testing: The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) is a standardized test that prepares students for the SAT and provides insight into college readiness. Any 9th-11th grade student may sign up and pay for this exam to prepare for the SAT's; Typically, students take the test in 10th grade. Purchase through our Online Student Store during the second week of September. Exams cost $30 ($10 for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch).
