Parking & Transportation
Students driving on campus are subject to the same laws governing the roads and highways. Laws pertaining to reckless driving, exhibition of speed, mechanical violations, registration, and parking are applicable to all vehicles in the parking lot.
Any law enforcement officer is authorized to patrol and cite. Pedestrians have the right-of-way. The campus maximum speed limit is 10 m.p.h. Vehicles may not be driven through campus. Students found operating their vehicles in an unsafe or reckless manner (including exceeding the 10 m.p.h. limit) may be fined and/or referred to an Assistant Principal and may lose their parking privileges on campus.
- Senior Parking Lot (Front/Main Parking Lot)
- Parking Permit: Always required and must be displayed in the driver’s windshield during the regular school day
- Visitor Parking: Only available for visitors to the campus. Not intended for student drop-off or pick-up. Students may not park here.
- Disabled Parking: Only vehicles displaying valid, California DMV-recognized disabled placards or license plates are permitted to park in designated accessible spaces
- Grove Lot - reserved for staff parking only
- Staff Lot - reserved for staff parking only (NO student drop-off or pick-up in the lot)
- Pick-up/drop-off lanes around perimeter (see map)
- Pistachio Park
- This city park has limited parking that is not monitored or enforced by the school. Students may park there at their own risk. Please review city parking guidelines before planning your visit.
- Back Gates: will be open for students to arrive/exit campus before/after school, as well as during the passing period for 1st/4th off students. Students who wish to exit during other times must report to the office so a Campus Monitor can be called to assist.
Parking Guidelines
General Parking in the following locations is prohibited:
- Parking outside designated parking spaces (a designated space is a defined space between 2 white lines)
- Staff Only areas
- Visitors Parking area
- Painted curbs (red, yellow, green)
- Fire lanes
- Any area behind the school or theater
- Handicapped (unless you have a permit)
- Traffic lanes
- Bus loading zone
Pick-up & Drop-off
Students may be dropped off in the Staff Lot off of Panther Place as well as in the Grove Lot. View maps for driving routes.
Bikes & Scooters
We welcome all student riders wearing the appropriate safety gear and abiding by all rules and safety guidelines set forth by the Roseville Police Department. We have 3 bike/scooter racks available for current students:
- Main Entrance (remains open even after hours)
- Grove (remains open even after hours)
- Swimming Pool (locked except during arrival/dismissal)
Bikes, skateboards, scooters, or any other wheeled and/or motorized transportation is not permitted on campus inside the gates at any time (even after-hours).
The school is not responsible for lost or stolen bikes or scooters. To help prevent theft, we strongly encourage students to securely lock their bikes and scooters in the designated areas. Please note that failing to lock them properly makes them an easy target for theft.

Parking Permits (available to Seniors only)
How to Obtain a Permit (must show at the time of purchase):
- Available to Seniors only
- Driver's License
- Proof of Insurance
- Payment (cash, check, credit card, tap-to-pay)
Permits will be issued once all the steps have been completed.
Permit Guidelines:
- The parking permit must be displayed in the windshield at all times while parking on campus.
- Students who are issued permits are expected to abide by all rules.
- Permits are only available to students enrolled in the 12th grade even if additional space is available.
- Students with permits must park in their assigned numbered parking spot.
Permit Options and Fees
- Painted Parking Spots $60:
- Grades: 12th only
- Limited to seniors only
- Reserved individual parking spot
- Good for one full school year
- Located in the Main Lot
- Painting Day: Aug. 2nd, 2025 @ 7am-12pm
- "SENIOR" Spot $10
- Grades: 12th only
- Open parking (not assigned) for Seniors who do not have a Painted Parking Spot
- Located in the Main Lot, in the middle area between the Painted Parking Spots and Unmarked Parking Spots
- Buying a permit does not guarantee a parking spot
